The first YourBimmer.com member's spotlight goes to Mats Svenson from Sweden, His Daytonaviolet M5 is truly one beautiful Bimmer. Here are a few words from Mats himself describing his M5. This Euro spec E34 M5 is a fine example of a true Ultimate Driving Machine. I want everyone to keep their eyes on their inbox for a possible invitation to be featured on this page.
I've owned the car for 10 months now (aug 2000) and the car has got one previuos owner in Germany before me . I was looking for this specific M5, the 1995 model, for a couple of months before I found it at BMW Niederlassung in Munich Germany (no '95 M5's where for sale here in Sweden).
I was looking for a one-preowner-secondhand-M5,Ê Daytonaviolet with full leather interior, these were the main criterias of my search. I've got full documentation on the car, even the accesories specification when the car was built at the ///M-Motorsport factory. My car is built in November 1994 and first registrationdate is July 14 1995. It is, apart from a few scratches on the rims, in excellent condition. The car is absolute stock and it will stay that way as long as I own it since the car is somewhat so special already as a stock-car.
Very agressive look and a beautifil color

An M5 must be driven to fully understand how special the car really is. It's litterally a 4-seater "racecar" for the street, hard to understand by just looking at the exterior of the car. Many, I say many fast turbo Volvos and similar cars and even sports-motorcycles has been wiped out on the highway by the 518i-look M5!Ê ;-) The sheepish kinda look of the M5 is like a magnet for "fast" cars who wants a race on the freeway, they all think that "there's a Bimmer, let's wipe the guy out"......Ê they will wake up.... believe my words... LOL!!
One of the reasons for me to chose the 1995 M5 was that this year was the last that a true handbuilt M5 was produced. The new E39 M5 is NOT handbuilt like the E34 M5 was, it is in the ordinary productionline. The E39 M5 is probably the better car but it's not handbuilt by the ///M-technicians.
